Lance naik (L/Nk) is the equivalent rank tolance corporal in theIndian andPakistani armies and, before 1947, in theBritish Indian Army, ranking belownaik.[1] In cavalry units the equivalent isacting lance daffadar. Like British lance corporals, each wears a single rankchevron.
