Lakmali Kanchana Hemachandra is aSri Lankan politician and a member of theNational People's Power. She was appointed as aMember of Parliament forNational List in the2024 Sri Lankan parliamentary election as a member of theNational People's Power.[1][2][3] She is a lawyer by profession and is an executive member of NPP Lawyers association in Colombo District.[4][5][6][7] She also worked as the Deputy Chairwoman of the Director Board of Dabindu Collective, a non-profit organization located in theFree Trade Zone (FTZ) ofKatunayake, that is concerned about the protection and promotion of women worker rights.[8]
