Lahithah (Arabic:لاهثة) is a village situated in theShahba District ofSuwayda Governorate, in southern Syria. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Lahithah had a population of 2,225 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyDruze.[2]
In 1838, it was noted as a ruin,el-Metuny, situated "in the Luhf, east of theLejah, i.e. in Wady el-Liwa".[3]
During theBedouin–Druze clashes in 2025, Lahithah remained under theSyrian transitional government and its Bedouin allies.[4]
