Lagarith is anopen sourcelosslessvideo codec written by Ben Greenwood.[2] It is afork of the code ofHuffYUV and offers better compression at the cost of greatly reduced speed on uniprocessor systems.[3][4] Lagarith was designed and written with a few aims in mind:
