Laertes (Ancient Greek:Λαέρτης)[1] was a town ofancient Cilicia.[2] Some have supposed that the philosopherDiogenes Laërtius was from this town.[3]Strabo called it a stronghold.[4]

Its site is located nearCebelires inAntalya,Asiatic Turkey.[2][5] Archaeologists have excavated the site; antiquities may be found at theAlanya Archaeological Museum.
