Laç (pronounced[lat͡ʃ];Albaniandefinite form:Laçi) is a town and a formermunicipality inLezhë County, northwesternAlbania. At the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision and the seat of the municipalityKurbin.[2] It was the administrative center of the formerKurbin District. The population as of the 2023 census is 12,854.[1] Its associated football club isKF Laçi.
Laç is served byLaç Railway Station.

Laç is recorded in theOttomandefter of 1467 as ahass-ı mir-liva property in thevilayet ofKurbin. The settlement had only four households which were represented by the following household heads:Pal Suma,Nikolla Smaka,Gjergj Marku, andTanush Znishi.[6]
Known as "Kisha e Laçit" or "Kisha e Shna Ndout" in Albanian, this church is dedicated toSt Anthony of Padua.
