Kwon O-kyu (Korean: 권오규; born 17 August 1952) is a South Korean politician who served as thedeputy prime minister andminister of economy and finance of South Korea from 2006 to 2008.
As the finance minister during theRoh Moo-hyun government, he has emphasized that Korea will remove discriminatory rules that have made it difficult for domestic companies and funds to invest abroad.[1]
