Kumaramputhur is a village inPalakkad district in the state ofKerala,India. It is administered, along with some other villages, by theKumaramputhur gram panchayat.[1] Palakkad - Kozhikode National highway passes through Kumaramputhur.
As of 2001[update] Indiacensus, Kumaramputhur had a population of 15,346 with 7,442 males and 7,904 females.[2]
