Krishnanagar City Junction railway station is part of theKolkata Suburban Railway system and operated byEastern Railway. It is situated inKrishnanagar, Nadia on theRanaghat–Krishnanagar line inNadia in the Indian state ofWest Bengal.^[1] It is 100.2 kilometres (62.3 mi) fromSealdah & Junction point of Ranaghat, Shantipur & Nabadwip Ghat station railway lines. Shantipur is 15.3 kilometres (9.5 mi) from Krishnanagar & Nabadwip Ghat is 12.3 kilometres (7.6 mi) from Krishnanagar. Due to land problems Krishnanagar-Nabadwip Dham Line project is stuck from 2015 despite the 652 metres (2,139 ft) long bridge completed on Hooghly river &Broad Gauge Line reaching till Amghata.
