David Kris Haines (born July 23, 1957) is a formerAmerican footballwide receiver in theNational Football League (NFL) for theWashington Redskins, theChicago Bears, and theBuffalo Bills. He playedcollege football at theUniversity of Notre Dame and was drafted in the ninth round of the1979 NFL draft. He also played for theChicago Blitz of theUnited States Football League (USFL) in 1984. He was special teams coach of theChicago Enforcers of theXFL.[1]
Haines is a Physical Education teacher, Athletic coach, and Karate instructor at The Catherine Cook School inChicago,Illinois. He is now a gym teacher.
