Kombdi vade is a dish native to theKonkan region in theIndian state ofMaharashtra. The dish consists of a traditionalchicken curry (including chicken pieces with bones),vade (fluffy fried dumplings made ofrice flour, and occasionally ofwheat andRagi flour),onions, lemon juice andsolkadhi (a gravy made fromcoconut milk). This dish is majorly prepared on "Gatahari (Deep Amavasya)" "Gauri Ovase", "Dev Diwali" and "Shimga" inRaigad,Ratnagiri andSindhudurg districts ofKonkan. Generally this dish is available throughout the year especially in the coastal area of Maharashtra including Mumbai.[1][2][3]
