Ancestral Koknar(Kwantari) territory is estimated to cover 2,400 square miles (6,200 km2) and extended fromGalbraith Station and the northern bank of the lowerStaaten River inland toOld Koolatah, north toInkerman and the middle of theNassau River.[2]
