TheKoenigsegg Chimera is aone-off mid-engine sports car manufactured by Swedish automobile manufacturerKoenigsegg. It was unveiled on 7 July 2024 at The Aurora inBåstad, Sweden forFIA PresidentMohammed Ben Sulayem.[1]
The Koenigsegg Chimera is based on theKoenigsegg Agera RS chassis. It has theKoenigsegg Jesko engine and theKoenigsegg CC850 transmission. This car, like theKoenigsegg CCGT, is one of one manufactured car. The Chimera was used as a testing platform to develop the CC850 three years prior to the unveiling at The Aurora Concours.[2]
The engine is the Jesko's 5.0-litre twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 which does without aflywheel. Using 95-octane standard pump fuel it will output 1,280 bhp, and 1,600 bhp onE85 fuel.[1]
