Kiyoko Ichiki (市来貴代子,Ichiki Kiyoko) is a Japaneseprofessional wrestler currently working as a feelancer and is best known for her time in the JapanesepromotionsJWP Joshi Puroresu,NEO Japan Ladies Pro-Wrestling andBig Japan Pro Wrestling.[3]
Ichiki made herprofessional wrestling debut atIWA Japan Opening Year '94 Final Battle, an event promoted by theInternational Wrestling Association of Japan where she fell short toCynthia Moreno.[4]
During her freelancing work, Ichiki made appearances for various promotions from theJapanese independent scene. Ichiki wrestled forAll Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling on August 13, 1996, atAJW Discover New Heroine, where she competed in abattle royal won byChiquita Azteca and also involving notable opponents such asCommand Bolshoi,Etsuko Mita,Jaguar Yokota,Kaoru Ito,Mariko Yoshida,Tomoko Miyaguchi,Takako Inoue,Yumi Fukawa and others.[5] She has had a brief tenure withGaea Japan and participated in a tournament for theWCW Women's Cruiserweight Championship placing herself in the block B where she unsuccessfully competed againstSonoko Kato.[6] AtJWP Beauty, an event promoted byJWP Joshi Puroresu on August 26, 2001, Ichiki wrestled two times. First in abattle royal won byKayoko Haruyama and also involvingAzumi Hyuga,Kaori Yoneyama,Tsubasa Kuragaki and others, and secondly in atag team match in which she teamed up with Ran YuYu to defeat Azumi Hyuga and Tsubasa Kuragaki.[7] Between 2001 and 2004, Ichiki has a brief tenure withNEO Japan Ladies Pro-Wrestling. Her most notable work was recorded during the 2002 Neo Japan Cup, where on the third night of the show from May 6, she participated in a300.000 Yen battle royal won by Ran Yu-Yu and also involvingCarlos Amano,Mima Shimoda,Kyoko Inoue,Yoshiko Tamura,Yuki Miyazaki and others.[8] AtGatoh Move Japan Tour #50 ~ Summer Vacation Approaching!, an event promoted byGatoh Move Pro Wrestling on July 15, 2013, Ichiki unsuccessfully facedEmi Sakura for the AWF World Women's Championship.[9] Ichiki has been inactive in professional wrestling since 2014.
A promotion with which she spent significant time with wasBig Japan Pro Wrestling. As a promotion rookie, she began competing in a "trial series" of three initiation matches. The first one took place atBJW New Year Great Series 2000 on January 2, where she fell short to Tomoko Watanabe. The next two matches have been againstDevil Masami andDynamite Kansai which Ichiki both lost.[10] AtBJW World Extreme Cup 2000 on May 14, Ichiki won the short-livedBJW International Eight Man Scramble Championship by defeating the reigning championGreat Kojika andMasayoshi Motegi, Chihiro Nakano,Harley Lewis, Kamikaze,Misae Genki and Terry Bull in ascramble match.[11] On the fifth night of the 2000 edition of theMaximum Tag League II from July 2, Ichiki defeated Misae Genki to win theBJW Women's Championship.[12]
Ichiki made her debut inIce Ribbon atIce Ribbon Future Star Vol. 8 on June 1, 2008, where she defeatedMakoto.[13] Her most notable work in the promotion was winning theICE Cross Infinity Championship from Seina atIce Ribbon New Ice Ribbon #32 on January 18, 2009.[14] She wrestled her last match atIce Ribbon New Ice Ribbon #180 on May 3, 2010, where she teamed up withHamuko Hoshi to defeatChii Tomiya andMasahiro Takanashi.[15]
