Kirchzarten is a town in the district ofBreisgau-Hochschwarzwald in the federal-state ofBaden-Württemberg in southwesternGermany.

A Zionist agricultural training farm was founded in Kirchzarten in 1919 to prepare young people to become farmers inMandatory Palestine [Eretz Israel].[3]

The Kirchzarten synagogue had a set ofJugendstil windows by artistFriedrich Adler, who made a duplicate set now in theTel Aviv Museum of Art.[3]
