TheKinema Junpo Award for Best Film of the Year, also called theKinema Junpo Best Ten Award for Best Japanese Film is given by Japanese film magazineKinema Junpo as part of its annualKinema Junpo Best Ten awards. Each film selected into theJapanese Film Best Ten list receives an award, the highest ranked one becomingBest Japanese Film accordingly. The award was first given for 1926.
