Kieran James Bird (born 2 September 1999) is a Britishswimmer who competed at the2020 Summer Olympics and2024 Summer Olympics.[2][3]

Biography

Bird attendedMillfield School.[4]

He competed in themen's 400 metre freestyle event at the2020 European Aquatics Championships, inBudapest, Hungary.[5]

Bird won the400 metres freestyle at the2024 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships[6] and was subsequently named in the British team for the2024 Summer Olympics.[7] He swam in the heats of the4 × 200 metre freestyle relay and while he was replaced byMatt Richards for the final, as a heat swimmer he was awarded a gold medal when the British team won.[8][9]
