Kibitsuhiko-no-mikoto

Son of emperor Korei

Kibitsu-hiko-no-mikoto (吉備津彦命), also known asHiko Isuseri-hiko no mikoto, was a legendaryJapanese prince.

According to theNihon Shoki, he was the son ofEmperor Kōrei.[1] Legend says this prince slayed an ogre called Ura, which may be the demonization of theKingdom of Kibi, destroyed during the reign of Kōrei-Tennō.

Hiskami is enshrined atShinto shrines inOkayama Prefecture andHiroshima Prefecture.[2]
