Kian Joe Ronan (born 9 March 2001) is an English-born Gibraltarianfootballer who plays as adefender ormidfielder forNational League North sideKing's Lynn Town and theGibraltar national team.[2]
Ronan played his youth football atIpswich Town, and made two appearances in the2018–19 FA Youth Cup.
On 14 November 2018, Ronan joinedIsthmian League North teamMildenhall Town on loan.[3] Later that season, he also spent time withLeyton Athletic in theEssex Senior League, playing 5 games. He was released by Ipswich at the end of the season.
In 2019, Ronan joinedGibraltar National League teamManchester 62. While at the Red Devils, he was occasionally utilised as a makeshift striker, scoring 6 goals for the club in 13 games during his only season at the club.
On 8 July 2020, he signed with Gibraltar Premier League sideLincoln Red Imps.[4] After three seasons in which he won theGibraltar Football League three times and theRock Cup twice, alongside a season in the group stage of the inauguralUEFA Conference League, he left the club upon the expiry of his contract in July 2023.
After his contract with Lincoln Red Imps ended, Ronan returned to England and joinedNational League North sideKing's Lynn Town.[5]
Ronan has represented Gibraltar at various youth levels.[3]
Ronan made his international debut forGibraltar on 5 September 2020 in theUEFA Nations League againstSan Marino.[6][7]
