TheKia Naimo was anelectricsubcompactcrossover SUVconcept revealed bySouth Korean automobile manufacturerKia at the 2011Seoul Motor Show.

The Kia Naimo concept was first revealed at theSeoul Motor Show on March 31, 2011, inSeoul,South Korea. It was a 5-doorall-electricsubcompactcrossover SUV.[1] Its name 'Naimo' is derived fromne-mo(네모) meaning "square shaped" inKorean, referring to its overall design. The concept's design was inspired by Asianceladon pottery, which are also glazed in the sameceladon color used on the car.[2][3]
The battery used in the Kia Naimo was a twin-pack 27kWhlithium-ion polymer battery located under the boot floor, powered by a 107hpelectric motor. Aquick charge system could fill the batter up to 80% in 25 minutes.[4] The car has a top speed of 93mph and a range of 124 mi (200 km).[5]

Among its celadon-inspired design on the exterior, the Naimo concept featured an asymmetricalsunroof, dot-styleLEDheadlights, an illuminated Kia logo on the rear, suicide doors, and other square-shaped accents.[4]
The car lacked traditionalside-view mirrors andwindshield wipers, and instead had cameras and air-drying jettisons replacing them respectively.[1]
The interior of the Naimo had four seats, which were colored yellow and white, and door panels with wood accents that continued the handcrafted theme present on the exterior.[4] Each row featured centraltouchscreen control panels.[1]
Kia released a video for Kia's Sound Festival onYouTube for the Naimo and so it got over 1 Million Likes. The car's control system was actually a partnership withLG So that the driver can insert their tablet into the slot in their dashboard to start the car. It also in the back seat had another tablet which is used to control the music and charge the passenger's phone usingWireless Charging Technology.
