Khoiniki district orChojniki district[2] (Belarusian:Хойніцкі раён,romanized: Chojnicki rajon;Russian:Хойникский район) is adistrict (raion) ofGomel region inBelarus. Its administrative center is the town ofKhoiniki. As of 2024, it has a population of 18,435.[1]

Geography

The district includes the town ofKhoiniki, eight rural councils (selsoviets), and several villages. Following the1986 Chernobyl disaster, it is partially included in thePolesie State Radioecological Reserve.[3][4]
