Khichuqaqa (Quechuakhichu a piece of a whole, fraction,qaqa rock,[1] also spelledK'echuqaqa) is an archaeological site inPeru with rock paintings andtombs nearby. It is situated in theCusco Region,Urubamba Province,Urubamba District.[2] The site lies at a height of about 3,160 metres (10,367 ft) on the slope of the mountain Kapuliyuq[2] (Quechua for "the one with thebitter-berry tree",[1]Capulliyoq).
