Kharsa (Arabic:الخرسان; formerly knownRas al-Ayn) is aSyrian village located in theHamraa Subdistrict of theHama District inHama Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Kharsan had a population of 931 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyAlawites.
