Al-Marri was summoned for the2018 FIFA World Cup qualification inRussia based inAFC[clarification needed] for 12 matches starting with a match betweenNepal andIndia.
He was also summoned at the2019 AFC Asian Cup in theUnited Arab Emirates.[3][4]
Al-Marri was once again summoned at the2023 AFC Asian Cup inQatar.[5]
