Khabat District (Sorani Kurdish:قەزای خەبات), also speltKabat, orQezayê Xebat in Kurdish, is a district in the west ofErbil Governorate inIraq. It has three sub-districts,Rizgarî [], Kewrgosk and Dareşekran, and 64 villages. The district lies 37 km west of the city ofErbil, on the main road between Erbil andMosul.[1][2]
