Kfifan (Arabic:كفيفان), alternatively spelledKfifane, is a village in theBatroun District of theNorth Governorate inLebanon.
In 2014Christians made up 85.01% of registered voters in Kfifan andMuslims made up 14.30%. 80.28% of the voters wereMaronite Catholics and 13.84% wereSunni Muslims.[1]
In the village there is a monastery named TheMonastery of Kfifan, dedicated toSaints Cyprian and Justina. The Lebanese saintNimatullah Kassab lived and died in this monastery and the other Maronite saintCharbel Makhlouf spent some years there. Inside the monastery there are the tomb of Saint Nimatullah and the remains of BlessedStefano Nehmè.[2][3][4]
