Kevin Noble Brown is an American journalist and sportscaster for theBaltimore Orioles. He is also a play-by-play commentator for several college sports withESPN.
Brown graduated from theNewhouse School atSyracuse University in 2011 with a degree inbroadcast journalism.[1][2] From 2011 to 2017, he was the director of broadcasting and media relations for theSyracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of theWashington Nationals. In 2017, he made his debut on theWashington Nationals' Radio Network.[3] He has also announced high school and college football, hockey, and basketball for ESPN since 2016.[4][5]
He began his radio role for theBaltimore Orioles in2019, backing upJim Hunter for approximately 50 games.[4] He started calling theplay-by-play in2020, and became the primary television play-by-play announcer in2022.[6]
