Kevan Parekh (born 1972)[1] is an American business executive who has been thechief financial officer (CFO) ofApple Inc. since January 2025.[2][3][4] Prior to this, Parekh worked in other positions at Apple for eleven years, including as vice president of Financial Planning and Analysis. Before joining Apple, Parekh worked at bothThomson Reuters andGeneral Motors.[5]
Parekh is from anIndian American family.[5] He attended theUniversity of Michigan, where he received a bachelor's of science (B.S.) degree in electrical engineering. He later received hisMaster of Business Administration (MBA) from theUniversity of Chicago Booth School of Business.[2][3][6]
Before Apple, Parekh worked atThomson Reuters for over four years and atGeneral Motors for over five years.[2][7][5]
Parekh has been at Apple for 11 years[8] and is currently the vice president of Financial Planning and Analysis.[9] Before this, he was the head of Worldwide Sales, Retail, and Marketing Finance at Apple.[2] He started his Apple career as the head of financial support of some of Apple's business divisions. Parekh recently got additional responsibilities at Apple when former Apple finance executive Saori Casey left Apple.[7][8][10]
He replacedLuca Maestri as the CFO of Apple on 1 January 2025.[2][4][9] As part of this role, Parekh joined Apple’s executive team, reporting directly toTim Cook.[10] In this role, he will receive a base salary of $1 million.[11]
