TheKepong Sentral Komuter station is arailway station located inKepong,Selangor,Malaysia. It is part of theTanjung Malim–Port Klang Line, and also providesKTM ETS services. Situated just beside this station is theKuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2).
The station was built as aninfill station which opened in July 2006.intercity services were extended to this station in 2008 when it was included in theKL Sentral-Ipoh shuttle, which was discontinued whenElectric Train Service began operations in August 2010.
The Kepong Sentral Komuter station was built to cater to the traffic inKepong, a suburban area northwest ofKuala Lumpur. TheKepong Komuter station, which also serves the same locality is located 1 km away.
This station serves as an interchange to thePutrajaya line via a link bridge. The MRT station was opened on 16 June 2022, and is one of two interchanges between the Port Klang Line and Putrajaya Line. Previously, the MRT station was named afterKepong Sentral as well, but was subsequently namedSri Damansara Timur during launch.
