Kepler-23b is an exoplanet orbitingKepler-23, located in theCygnus constellation. The exoplanet was discovered with theKepler space telescope in January 2012.[2]

The planet is bigger thanEarth, and its orbit is very close to its parent star.[3] Orbital periods are 7.1 days and it presents a semi-major axis 0.099AU.[3]
