Kenneth Lomas (16 November 1922 – 15 July 2000) was a BritishLabour Party politician.
Lomas was educated inAshton-under-Lyne and served in theRoyal Marines 1942–46 including in theCommando Group. He worked for theUnion of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers then as assistant regional organiser of theNational Blood Transfusion Service. He was branch secretary for theNational Union of Public Employees.
Lomas contestedBlackpool South at the1951 general election andMacclesfield in the1955 general election.He was elected at the1964 general election asmember of parliament (MP) forHuddersfield West, and held the seat until he stood down at the1979 general election. He later joined theSDP.
