Ken Estin is an Americantelevision producer andscreenwriter.[1] He has worked onTaxi andCheers and co-createdThe Tracey Ullman Show withJames L. Brooks.[2] In 1982, Estin won anEmmy Award for Best Writing in a Comedy Series for theTaxi episode "Elegant Iggy" featuringChristopher Lloyd and, in 1989, he won anEmmy Award for producingThe Tracey Ullman Show. Estin has had an additional elevenEmmy Award nominations and won the 1979Writers Guild of America Award. Estin rewrote the screenplay forBeverly Hills Cop (1984) and received a special "thank you" credit in the feature filmBig (1988).
Estin co wrote the sitcomShaping Up withSam Simon.[3]
Estin worked on as executive producer for the short-lived NBC/UPN showMinor Adjustments through Ken Estin Entertainment.[4]
