Keminmaa (Finnish:[ˈkemimˌmɑː]; until 1979Kemin maalaiskunta;Inari Sami:Kiemâeennâm;Skolt Sami:Ǩeeʹmmjânnam) is amunicipality ofFinland. It is located near the towns ofKemi andTornio in theLapland region.

The municipality has a population of 7,591(30 June 2025)[2] and covers an area of 647.24 square kilometres (249.90 sq mi) ofwhich 20.73 km2 (8.00 sq mi)is water.[1] Thepopulation density is12.1 inhabitants per square kilometre (31/sq mi).
