Kavir National Park is anational park in northernIran with an area of 4,000 km2 (1,500 sq mi) located on the western end of theDasht-e Kavir desert. It encompassesdesert andsteppe landscapes harbouring nativegoats (Capra aegagrus),sheep (Ovis orientalis),[2]striped hyenas,Indian wolves,gazelles,Asiatic cheetah and thePersian leopard.
