Kaualena (Ancient Greek: Καυαληνοί)[1] was a town ofancient Phrygia, inhabited inRoman andByzantine times.[2] Its name does not occur in ancient authors, but is inferred fromepigraphic and other evidence.[2]
Its site is nearElmacık inAsiatic Turkey.[2][3]
The people of Kaualena were called Καβαληνεῖς.[1]
