Kathryn Jean Lopez (born March 22, 1976) is an Americanconservativecolumnist. She is the formereditor and currently an editor-at-large ofNational Review Online.[1][2] Her nickname on the website's groupblog "The Corner" is "K-Lo", a wordplay based on "J-Lo," the popular nickname forJennifer Lopez.
Lopez grew up in theChelsea section ofManhattan,[3] attended the all-girlsDominican Academy in New York,[4] and graduated fromThe Catholic University of America inWashington, D.C.,[5] where she studiedphilosophy andpolitics[citation needed]. Prior to joiningNational Review inNew York City, she worked atThe Heritage Foundation onCapitol Hill[citation needed].
