Town of ancient Caria

Kasossos (Ancient Greek:Κασωσσος) was a town ofancient Caria. It evidently contained an important temple or sanctuary that was shown favour by theHecatomnids when they ruled Caria.[1] Its townspeople appear in ancient inscriptions recovered in Caria.[2]

Its site is located nearUlaş,Asiatic Turkey.[3][4]
