Katarzyna Anna "Kasia"Smutniak (Polish pronunciation:[ˈkaɕaˈsmutɲak]; born 13 August 1979) is a Polish-Italianactress.
Smutniak was born inWarsaw,Poland.[2][3] Her father,Brigadier General Zenon Smutniak, is a military pilot and served in thePolish Air Force. At 16, she obtained aglider pilot's license. Her mother is a nurse.
She has a daughter, Sophie, born in 2004 with Italian actorPietro Taricone who died in an accident in 2010.[4] She has a son, Leone, born in 2014 with Italian film producerDomenico Procacci. The couple later married in September 2019.[5]
