Karsten Hilse (born 12 December 1964) is a German politician for thepopulistAlternative for Germany (AfD) and since 2017 member of theBundestag.
Hilse was born 1964 in the East German town ofHoyerswerda and became a police officer[1]
Hilse joined the AfD in 2016 and became a member of the Bundestag after the2017 German federal election.[2]
Hilse denies thescientific consensus on climate change.[3]
He polemicised against the resettlement of thewolf in the rural area ofLusatia.[4]
