Karratha is animpact crater in theMemnonia quadrangle ofMars. It was named after the town ofKarratha,Western Australia, in 2021.[1]
Karratha lies within the largerDampier, which is south ofBurton crater.
The crater is thought to be around 5-10 million years old. It has been suggested to be the source crater of theMartian meteoriteNorthwest Africa 7034.[2]
