Karnataka Kranti Ranga (Karnataka Revolutionary Front[1]), also known as theKannada Kranti Ranga[2] was a regionalpolitical party inKarnataka,India. KKR was formed byDevaraj Urs in 1979, as a split from theIndian National Congress.[2] It subsequently became part of what was called theCongress (Urs) and finally merged with theJanata Party.[citation needed]

In 1983, KKR was "floated" bySarekoppa Bangarappa, but merged with Congress before the1989 Karnataka Assembly elections.[1]
