Kapil Moreshwar Patil (born 5 March 1961) is politician fromBhiwandi inMaharashtra, India. He became the Union Minister of State in theMinistry of Panchayati Raj during Prime MinisterNarendra Modi's ministry reshuffle on 7 July 2021. He belong toKoli community of Maharashtra.[1]
Patil completed his graduation in B.A. in year 1984-85 fromMumbai University.[2]
Patil contested2014 Lok Sabha elections fromBhiwandi (Lok Sabha constituency) as BJP /NDA candidate, after switching over from the NCP.[3]
He was sworn-in as a union minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ministry reshuffle on July 7, 2021. He is the Minister of State in theMinistry of Panchayati Raj.[4]
He was Chairman ofThane District Co-operative Bank. He also worked as President of Thane Zilla Parishad. He moved fromNationalist Congress Party to Bharatiya Janata Party in March 2014.[5]
