Kapellskär (Swedish pronunciation:[ˈkâpːɛlˌɧæːr])[1] is aport about 90 kilometres (60 mi) north ofStockholm, inSweden. It is located by theBaltic Sea, inNorrtälje Municipality,Stockholm County.
The port was served by frequent passengerferry services toMariehamn,Åland,Finland, operated byViking Line, with three services per day and direction during peak season, until January 8,2023. Now there are services toNaantali in mainlandFinland, calling atLångnäs port in Åland, operated byFinnlines, and toPaldiski inEstonia operated byTallink andDFDS Seaways.
