Kan Paik Ti (Burmese:ကန်ပိုက်တီမြို့; alsoKanpaikti) is a town inWaingmaw Township,Myitkyina District,Kachin State ofMyanmar.[2] The town is home to one of 5 officialborder trade posts with China, and opened on 23 August 1998.[3] In 2022, total trade volume at the border post stood atUS$88.181 million.[4]
On 20 November 2024, as part of theMyanmar civil war, Kanpaikti was captured by theKIA. It was the final stronghold of theBGF.[5][6]
