TheKamchatka leaf warbler (Phylloscopus examinandus) is aspecies of leaf warbler (familyPhylloscopidae). It was formerly included in the "Old World warbler" assemblage. It is closely related to theArctic warbler and theJapanese leaf warbler, to which it was formerly considered conspecific.
It breeds inKamchatka,Sakhalin,Hokkaido and theKurile Islands; it migrates toIndonesia and thePhilippines.
The firstEuropean observation of a Kamchatka leaf warbler was made on July 18, 2021, inKilpisjärvi,Enontekiö,Finland.[2]
