Kamal Abdulfattah (born February 9, 1943, inUmm al-Fahm – died January 27, 2023, inJenin) was a Palestinian geographer and researcher.[1]
Abdulfattah studied at theDamascus University. After completing his studies, he obtained a Ph.D. in geography fromUniversity of Erlangen–Nuremberg in 1980.[1]
Beginning in 1978, Abdulfattah taught as an teaching assistant at department of Middle Eastern studies atBirzeit University. In 1980, become dean at faculty of Arts atBirzeit University. In the following years, he established the Geography department at the university.[2]
