Kajetanowice[kajɛtanɔˈvit͡sɛ] is avillage in the administrative district ofGmina Gidle, withinRadomsko County,Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 km (4 mi) south ofGidle, 20 km (12 mi) south ofRadomsko, and 99 km (62 mi) south of the regional capitalŁódź.
On the night of 5 to 6 September 1939, soldiers of theWehrmacht completely burned down the village and massacred about 76-80 Poles (theKajetanowice massacre [pl]).[2][3]
