Kaj Kvistgård Poulsen, known asKaj Poulsen, (born 31 December 1942) is aDanish formerassociation footballer in thestriker position, who played 141 games and scored 29 goals forVejle Boldklub. He played five matches for theDenmark national football team, and scored one goal againstWales in a qualification game for the1966 FIFA World Cup. He was named 1965Danish Football Player of the Year.[2] Poulsen moved abroad to play professionally with GermanBundesliga clubHannover 96 in 1966.[3] He also played forBelgian clubsK. Beerschot V.A.C. andKFC Turnhout,[1] before ending his career with Vejle in 1974.
