KXFG (92.9FM) is a commercialcountry musicradio station inMenifee, California, broadcasting to theTemecula area. KXFG is asimulcast ofKFRG inSan Bernardino, California. Its studios are inColton and the transmitter site for KXFG is inMurrieta.

On August 17, 2006, KFRG became the onlycountryradio station that could be heard in theLos Angeles area by default, asKZLA changed its programming format torhythmic adult contemporary, until October 28, 2006, whenKKGO changed its programming format fromadult standards tocountry to fill void in theLos Angeles area.
KFRG had been focusing more onOrange County andLos Angeles area news and traffic since the demise ofKZLA, but on February 23, 2007, KKGO moved its Country format and call letters to itsFM sister station, thus bringing a full-powered FM Country music station back the nation's second largest radio market after a six-month absence.
In October 2006, KFRG added thesyndicated overnight program, After Midnite, fromPremiere Radio Networks which is hosted byBlair Garner.
On February 2, 2017, CBS Radio announced it would merge withEntercom.[4] The merger was approved on November 9, 2017, and was consummated on the 17th.[5][6]
DuringLake Elsinore Storm baseball games, KXFG formerly interrupted the KFRG simulcast to carry the team's play-by-play. It replacedXEPE-AM in 2009. As of 2018[update], Lake Elsinore Storm Baseball games have moved toKMYT.
