KWAR (89.9FM, "Your Sound") is aradio station broadcasting aTop 40 (CHR) music format.[3] Licensed toWaverly, Iowa, United States, the station is owned byWartburg College.[4]

History

TheFederal Communications Commission issued a construction permit for the station on April 27, 2005.[5] The station was assigned thecall sign KWER on June 25, 2007, and on April 8, 2008, changed its call sign to the current KWAR.[6] On August 7, 2008, the station received itslicense to cover.[7]
